Bristol Tours
Why not take one of the many tours on offer in Bristol
Bath Tours
Hi all this isn’t an specific SWhoop tour as such but beautiful Bath, home of the only hot spring/roman baths in the UK and Jane Austen’s fave place, is just a short train journey away from Bristol and there are two COMPLETELY FREE (no tips accepted) walking tours happening daily.
Highly recommended if you are coming from abroad or have never seen Bath before. It really is a stunning city and very different to Bristol
Trains run regularly from Bristol Temple Meads Station and take just 12mins. I recommend using the Trainline app to buy tickets or you can just book when you get there π It’s about Β£16 day return.
Then it’s a short walk to the Roman Baths where the tour starts.
More info on the tours here: http://www.bathguides.org.uk/
Look for the Mayor’s guide crest for the 100% free tour.
Tours start: 10.30am and 2pm
All walks take approximately two hours.
Then you can decide whether to go to the Roman Baths, treat yourself to afternoon tea at the pump rooms, go and see the Jane Austen Centre or have a walk by the canal! Extra costs apply to most of these activities (except the canal!) so please check the links for costs.
For the veggies/vegans (and everyone else) I highly recommend a cafe/restaurant called The Green Rocket which is in the centre of Bath.Β Delicious π
If you fancy something a bit less formal head to Kingsmead Square for a Chaiwallahs wrap (the bhaji wrap is my fave) and an ice cream at Swoon π
Email me if you’re coming on your own and would like to meet up with other hoopers doing the tour OR check the SWhoop fb event discussion for people going π

Evening Dinner/Drinks Meet Up
For anyone left over π we suggest Cafe Kino on Stokes Croft as a great place to go for a meal/drink. All vegan co-op in one of the most vibrant area’s of Bristol. Great food and great prices π
We can’t book tables but it’s a friendly place and a great meet up spot to have dinner, a coffee or as a stop off on route to explore the area’s many bars.
Cafe Kino: 108 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3RU
People tend to collect from around 6pm.
