These optional workshops are 1hr long and can be attended by anyone at the event.

ALL CRAFT AREA WORKSHOPS ARE FOR ALL LEVELS BUT SOME DO HAVE LIMITED SPACES SO YOU NEED TO SIGN UP AT REGISTRATION πŸ™‚

Most of these workshops will be happening in the new Crafts area which will be in the Spinning@ Marquee in the Trinity Garden. A few will take place in the chill area (where the snack area is upstairs!)

Ukulele with Emma

It wouldn’t be SWhoop without the traditional ukulele sessions! Bring your uke along! They’ll be a beginners workshop a day in the chill space on Friday and Saturday and a proper sing-a-longs in the chill out space on Sunday. Emma’s been playing uke for ages but is really just focussed on some fun sing along songs πŸ˜› She does have a ton of easy songs to share

There are a few ukuleles that can be borrowed for the workshops. Sign up required to use one of these.
They will be able to be purchased after the Sunday Workshop.

A firm favourite from last years SWhoop- Learn how to make your own unique unicorn headband and become the Unicorn you’ve always wanted to be!

Once you have made your own horn, it’s yours to keep forever!

Colouring Corner

Take a rest, grab some pencils and select one of the many printed colouring sheets. Just like meditation, colouring also allows us to switch off our brains from other thoughts and focus only on the moment, helping to alleviate free-floating anxiety. Also gives your body a rest πŸ˜›

Knitting for Beginners

Ever wanted to learn to knit?

 

Here’s your chance!

SuziΒ  (pictured in the grey beanie) will be taking you through how to make something tbc

Suzi’s workshop at the 2015 was a huge hit so more is more this year πŸ™‚

It is a beginners knitting workshop but that doesn’t mean you can’t come and get involved if you’re a pro!

MAX SPACES:

The first 10 people to sign up receive a set of knitting needles to take home!

There is acrylic yarn (vegan friendly) enough provided for just the hats (no pom poms) for 12 people
OR

 

Bring your own needles- you’ll need 10mm or 12mm one ended normal knitting needles 30cm long
OR/AND
Bring your own wool – super chunky wool is easiest
