C-Section

C-Section  is a Hoop artist originally from Adelaide, Australia. With a background and some formal training in ballet and contemporary dance, Chris stumbled across hooping some number of years ago and has been hooked ever since. C-Section now lives in Berlin and has taught at Hooplaland, Hooptal the European Juggling Convention, and SWhoop 2017.
He is interested in the intersection between dance, elegance, performance and hoop tricks and hoop tech.

Chris’ workshop and performance and just general being were a big favourite at SWhoop 2017 so I have asked him to be a main teacher for 2018. 🙂

SWhoop Workshop:

Head to Toe C-Section

Tricks, tricks, tricks, from the top of your head, down to your feetsies…that is what you can expect to find in this workshop. You are cordially invited to participate in the weird and wonderful world of C-Section, be prepared, it’s a full body experience darling! We’ll dabble in some single hoop play, there will be a focus on the intersection between dance/elegance and tricks/hoop mastery, and maybe we’re fortuitous and will be blessed with twins…twin hoop tricks that is! I know twins can be a handful but we’ll manage them together! Looking forward to the blessed day!

INTERMEDIATE – 1 and 2 Hoops

PREREQUISITES:
It would be exquisite if you were already versed in the know-how to execute a wedgie escalator. Without this skill you will still gain a lot from the workshop but some parts of the workshop may be less accessible to you if you don’t know this move at all.

Make sure you attend Emma’s prerequisite workshop on the Friday of SWhoop where she’ll be teaching the Wedgie escalator.

YOU WILL NEED:
2 hoops
