Yin Yoga with Mirjam

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes.

Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality

How to create Stage/street performances and shows with Fede

In this past year, I have gained a lot of work experience about acts on stage and street shows, both as an artist and as organizer, with The Circus Gang crew, circus performers from Pisa, Italy. This workshop aims at guiding those who want to approach the show on stage or on the street (two completely different processes) for the first time. The “”A,B,C”” for a beginner!
You are all different, I can not tell you what to do or how to do it on stage … technically speaking. But, I can guide you in some clever choices that will help you!

We have only one hour, ah! The originally plan for the workshop includes both spoken parts (in the most stupid Italian accent of all time) and short and fun exercises to understand better the concepts. Based on the time (that will pass super-quickly) and in base of your interest in some topics more than others, I will do the best than I can!

More about Fede:
Federica Pennetta is an Italian hula hoop and aerial hoop performer. She has curly hair and, as they say in Italy :”every hedgehog is a whim”. So getting out of common patterns it has always been a temptation! If her creativity needs to explode, it must necessarily come out in the form of a circle! But why do we have to be happy only with one? Since 2010, she studied hula hoop in several intensive workshops with some of the best international teachers. She also attended a variety of professional classes such as:juggling, aerial ring, flexibility, acrobatic and clown with highly skilled teachers in order to expand her knowledge and to become a 360 degrees circus performer . In 2013, together with her partner in life Massimo Minervini and friend Cristiana Soldaini, they founded “The Circus Gang”, a jugglers group whose training and creation activities are based in Pisa, Italy. With the group Federica regularly performs on stages and street shows and also actively teaches workshops for children and adults throughout Italy and Europe.

-A yoga stretch using the Dc De Gasquet’s method with adapted figures to work on your posture, mainly based on the pelvic area, abs and spine.
-Advices on What to do and what to avoid when hooping and toning and stretching your body.

More about Carole:
“Carole is a french fitness and swimming instructor based in Lorient, by the beach in Britanny. She teaches Zumba for kids and adults, gym and also is a personal trainer. As she loved playing around with a Hula Hoop she started to introduce it in her fitness classes as a funny tool for a good workout and launched Hoop Fitness classes and teaches hoop dance lessons in France. This activity started to become successful as the city hired her to give classes in primary schools and free summer classes in the beach!

Willing to bring a good and safe way to tone and stretch the body she completed 3 programs at the Doctor De Gasquet’s Institute :
-« Abs, stop the Massacre ! » : Stop doing « crunchs » and damaging your abs, your pelvic area… and back…
-« Yoga without damage » : A yoga pause can be very good for one part of your body but may damage another if you are not aware of your posture and don’t know how to adapt the pause to make it efficient and safe.
-« Well being and maternity » : Working on the mum’s posture to benefit pregnancy time and after birth.”
